Actress Stephanie Panozzo features in the ‘intense’ special episode.

For its “epic” feature-length season finale, which airs tonight on Channel 7, Home and Away has gone all out.

At the centre of the episode is Stephanie Panozzo, who plays Eden Fowler. She is taken away for a camping trip with her boyfriend Cash Newman (Nicholas Cartwright).

However, something seems amiss, as the character calls for assistance from bandmate and best buddy Remi Carter (Adam Rowland).

Remi, however, gets into a “horror crash” while route to save her, which is predicted to cause devastation throughout Summer Bay.

What do I want the audience to remember from the conclusion? Before the episode airs at 7 p.m. on Channel 7 and 7plus, Panozzo tells 7Life that it’s compelling, amazing, heartbreaking, intense, and enormous.

“I can’t wait for fans to tune in next year because there will be so much excitement,” the author said. “I am so excited for them to see it.”

The actress joked that she can identify to Panozzo’s character’s lack of enthusiasm for sleeping in a tent in the season finale, “depending on my mood.”

“Sometimes I’m like, ‘Yeah, let’s get grotty and let’s go camping.’

“And then sometimes I’m like, ‘Oh, I want to go to a hotel that’s bougie’, so maybe Eden’s in a mood?

“I can resonate with that feeling of, ‘I’m not really up for camping today’.”

Cartwright is praised by Panozzo, who describes him as “hilarious” to work with.

She claims, “He’s the funniest man on set, and I never go through a scene or a day without laughing at his jokes.”

The actress claims that the triple-header show on Wednesday night will be “epic.”

“I can’t wait for viewers to tune in for the three feature-length episodes tonight and to watch again when we return from the Christmas break because it’s incredible,” the actress exclaims.

She also touches on the “horror crash” that fans can expect in the “heartbreaking” episode.

“I was not there when the filming took place, but I heard it was absolutely incredible,” she says.

“And you know when Home and Away does these season finales and these big crash sequences they go all out and it’s always epic and always incredible.

“I’ve seen some footage and it looks amazing.”
