Angelina Thomson, a star of Home and Away, has posted pictures from her romantic trip to New York City.
The actor, who portrays Kirby Aramoana in the Australian drama, took advantage of the soap’s two-week hiatus from filming by visiting New York City with partner Lachlan Dearing.
The actress, who joined the Home and Away cast last year, landed in the United States last week and has been sharing photos of her adventures on Instagram.
“DAY 1 in NYC 🍎✨ Wild. So very wild,” she wrote in one post, with a video showing the happy couple in front of the Brooklyn Bridge. “Jet lag. So much coffee… average but absolutely necessary.

A second post featured a clip of the pair on the viewing platform of the Empire State Building, with Angelina writing in the caption: “NYC slash The Empire State Building slash… Everyday LIFE with my love is the best feeling ever 🍎🍎🍎✨✨✨❣️❣️❣️🥰🥰🥰”.
In recent developments on the soap at Australian pace, Thomson’s character Kirby has been deliberating over her future with band Lyrik, following an offer for her to pursue a solo career during a meeting with record label executive Forrest.
Kirby made the decision to leave the band and pursue her ambitions after previously feeling unsatisfied with it and recently ending her relationship with bandmate Theo Poulos. She informed manager Justin Morgan of her decision.
She told him, “First of all, I just want to say thanks – you have been a really terrific manager. “Honestly, it means the world to me that you have faith in both my abilities and my songs. I have to act in my own best interests. Really, I’m sorry. Just as a courtesy, I wanted to let you know.
