Another contentious argument between Marilyn Chambers and her estranged friend Roo Stewart was shown on Home and Away.
Recently, the two have fought on Australian television, with Roo angrily blaming Marilyn for the wounds she received in the explosion incident.
Roo got caught in the crossfire when a bomb was delivered to Summer Bay earlier this year while the dishonest cosmetics business Stunning Organics was aiming at Marilyn.
Since then, Roo has held Marilyn responsible for what transpired, first for becoming engaged with Stunning Organics in the first place, and then for enraging them with a social media campaign.
In the Channel 7 program airing on Wednesday, Roo became concerned when she discovered that her father Alf was about to return from a vacation to meet his wife Martha.
For Roo, who had expelled Marilyn from the Stewart family home while Alf was gone, this was unwelcome news.
Alf only went on vacation because he thought Marilyn would be in charge of Roo’s care, but Roo had other plans and hired newcomer Dana Matheson to take charge.
Roo pleaded with Marilyn to accept a cover story because she was desperate to avoid being exposed for lying to Alf.
Roo suggested: “We just tell him that it was your idea to move into Leah’s.”
As Marilyn scoffed at the idea, Roo snapped: “Well, hey Marilyn, you keep telling me what a good friend you are to me. Now is your chance to prove it.”
