Sir Keir Starmer has been referred to as “the Ken Barlow of politics” by Tory Deputy Chairman Lee Anderson.
The outspoken Conservative referred to Sir Keir as “boring” in the same way that fictional Coronation Street character does.
Contrary to Deputy Leader Angela Rayner, who he claimed shuns Conservative MPs in Parliament, Mr. Anderson lauded the Labour leader for her good manners towards her Tory adversaries.
To be fair to Keir Starmer, despite being dull and the political equivalent of Ken Barlow, he said: “At least he’s got a little bit about him, that tiny bit of political intellect.
People like Angela and her side of the party, when they walk by in Parliament, they just turn their heads that way and now they won’t talk to me any more. “On the escalator at work he always says, ‘Hello Lee, how are you?’ as we go by.”
Sir Keir and Ms. Rayner’s animosity for one another, according to Mr. Anderson, is evident to observers.
He stated: “You can see when you sit down on the green benches there is this, there is an atmosphere between them,” during a talk on GB News.
They avoid eye contact with one another, making it clear that they don’t get along.
After years of being a Labour activist, he claimed that several Labour politicians had never forgave him for joining the Tories in 2018. They all believe that I am a traitor, but at least Sir Keir has a modest demeanor, according to Mr. Anderson.
He claimed that other Labour politicians just labeled their rivals as racist.
They only have that to offer. They have no solutions for the economy. No solutions to the migration issue. Nobody makes any noise. Everybody is racist.
