NEIGHBOURS icon Toadie Rebecchi could be set to make an exit from Ramsay Street in upcoming scenes on the Channel 5 soap as it seems he is set to begin a feud with a newcomer on the show.

Toadie (Ryan Maloney) has been enjoying life on Neighbours recently, as he has finally found happiness after the death of his late wife, Sonya Rebecchi (Eve Morey), a few years ago. Nothing appears to be able to break his bubble, especially when his latest relationship is going well and he has his buddy Amy Greenwood (Jacinta Stapleton) nearby for support. However, the introduction of newcomer Zara Selwyn (Freya Van Dyke) has ruffled some feathers, and he may be forced to leave in upcoming scenes on the Channel 5 serial due to her heinous decisions.

The drama has already begun, with Toadie seriously unimpressed with Amy’s daughter’s attitude as she is coming across as selfish and entitled.

Unfortunately, as one thing leads to another, he loses his temper with the newcomer and gives her a stern talking to.

Like mother, like daughter, Zara is extremely hot-headed and decides she wants to take revenge on the father of two for treating her like a child.

Prying on the things most important to him, the newcomer gives his young daughter Nell Rebecchi (Scarlett Anderson) a shot of jelly.

However, the ordeal turns horrific when the father of two discovers it was made with vodka and his daughter has had alcohol.

The iconic figure, laying down the law, advises his pal Amy that she must keep her daughter in line or face the penalties.

Zara reveals to Amy that her friend is causing difficulty and is being judgmental because she wants her mother to protect her, which leads to a massive fight between the two.

The mother of three is yearning to reconnect with her child and doesn’t understand why Toadie is so strict with him.

Though she acknowledges some of her friend’s concerns, she informs the newcomer that if she wants to stay, she must find work.

Zara’s troubled ways run much deeper than her mother could have imagined, as she continues to cause additional issues.

Toadie may decide to leave since he understands Amy’s need for time to work on her daughter, but he is also concerned about the safety of his own children.

It wouldn’t be permanent, but he knows that if he stays on Ramsay Street with Zara, her irresponsible behavior will put Nell in much greater risk.

He must prioritize his children in order to visit his brother, Shane Rebecchi (Nicholas Coghlan), in Sydney.

Toadie hasn’t seen him much since he and his wife, Dipi Rebecchi (Sharon Johal), left Ramsay Street last year.

Dipi was always a mother figure to Nell so she could offer the youngster some guidance as the Toadie works out how he’s going to cope if Zara sticks around long-term.

It takes a lot for Toadie to become agitated by someone, and it appears that Zara is the first one to do so since his experiences with Andrea Somers (Madeleine West).

He may give Amy a month to sort out her daughter, after which she must leave Ramsay Street so that his children are not in danger.

Amy may believe her friend is crazy for taking such drastic means to get away from Zara, but the more time she spends with her, the more distressed the teenager appears to be.

She’ll be pressured to make any permanent adjustments if she doesn’t get the troublemaker to change her ways in a month.

Will she be forced to send her daughter packing, destroying their bond forever as she knows Zara is beyond any help?

In an exclusive interview with Express.co.uk, Jacinta, who plays Amy, warned that Zara will be a handful, especially when it comes to Toadie.

According to the star of the daytime drama, “Amy and Zara’s relationship is tense, with Amy feeling guilty and Zara angry and resentful.

“And because many of the residents of Ramsay Street are parents who “know what they’re doing,” they have a lot of opinions regarding Amy’s parenting method.

“A lot of things move and alter in Amy’s friendships,” she remarked before discussing how it feels for her character to have family members join the ensemble.

Jacinta added: “Amy has never been there for her daughter and I think she’s got to a point in her life where she really wants to step up and take responsibility and be there for Zara.”
