ā€œHe told bosses earlier this year that he would like to leave at the end of his three year contract and they have crafted an exciting exit storyline for him.

ā€œHe will still be on screen for some time yet but it gave him chance to say yes to a number ofĀ jobsĀ he was keen to do later this year.ā€

Before Bill arrived on the cobbles in 2021 he starred in smash-hit series Ted Lasso playing George.
