There’s more conflict and tension ahead in EastEnders next week, as Phil Mitchell (Steve McFadden) hits killer Reiss Colwell (Jonny Freeman) with worrying news that leaves him on edge. Also on edge is Linda Carter (Kellie Bright) as Dean Wicks (Matt di Angelo) weaves his way into her life again with what feels like a tempting proposition. But it’s a decision that will cause heartache for Linda either way. And, speaking of heartache, Nish Panesar (Navin Chowdhry) is at his scheming worst when he re-introduces a face from Suki’s (Balvinder Sopal) past, and one which leaves Eve Unwin (Heather Peace) worried…

Monday August 5

Reiss continues to worry about the post-mortem results, but Sonia reassures him that it’s just routine procedure.

Later, Eve spies Reiss with Debbie’s old wedding ring in the café. Reiss pales after Phil demands a return on his fake investment scheme within 24 hours

Avani tries to convince Ravi to lend her money to go shopping with Nugget but Nish intervenes and gifts his granddaughter for helping to track down his old acquaintance.

Elsewhere, Suki and Vinny have lunch at Walford East to discuss their plans for Nish, but the pair are interrupted when Nish arrives with a guest in tow– Ayesha, the widow of Hardeep who Nish killed 20 years ago.

Suki is stunned to see Ayesha after all this time, but it’s not a happy reunion as Ayesha riles at Nish for his crime before fleeing.

Suki follows Ayesha and the pair head back to No.41.

Later, they head to The Vic for a drink with Eve where Nish spies an opportunity to meddle as he plants a seed of doubt in Eve’s head about their close bond.

Linda is rocked when a contact of Dean’s, Fraser, accosts her in The Vic and offers her a deal.

Elaine intervenes and orders him to leave, but once alone with Johnny, it’s clear Linda is tempted to take the deal but he desperately tries to talk her out of the idea before Linda turns to the bottle.

Cindy is upset when Junior is distracted with work, and decides to make him jealous by agreeing to an innocent drink with Harry in The Vic. Later, Junior heads to No.45 and the pair sleep together.

Tuesday August 6

Eve is irritated when Suki continues to praise Ayesha at No.41, but she soon softens after a conversation with Suki. Later, Eve confides in Stacey about her worries, but Stacey reasons that Nish is manipulating the situation.

After a run-in in the café with Nish, Eve makes a decision and heads to The Vic to propose to Suki in front of Ayesha, Stacey and the Panesars.

Reiss doesn’t have the funds to pay Phil and fabricates a lie to Sonia.

Cindy and Junior arrange another afternoon delight at No.45 but their plans are set to be scuppered when Peter has to attend a meeting and can’t manage Beale’s Eels.

Cindy enlists Bobby to help by promoting him to manager, but it’s clear Bobby is not up to the job.  Back at No.45, Cindy and Junior rip each other’s clothes off…

Linda wakes hungover at The Vic and raises concerns with Elaine when she forgets Annie’s dentist appointment. Linda grows defensive when Elaine offers to take Annie instead, and is later horrified when the dentist reveals that Annie’s dental care has slipped. Later, Linda asks Jack for advice on the trial.

Freddie takes Mo bird watching in the Square to cheer her up, and Anna joins having been stood up by Bobby.

Mo notices a spark between the pair and later gives Anna food for thought.
