Ruth Cordingly’s character Ruby Fox-Miligan is renowned for her cunning, ability to bounce back from setbacks, and ability to accomplish her goals. This is aimed at William Ash’s character Caleb Miligan, who wants to escape going to jail and have her ugliest and cruelest retribution in Emmerdale.

However, Ruby is not happy with the way her plan to unseat Kim Tate (Claire King) is going because, for the most part, she appears to be losing control of her pawn Rose Jackson (Cristine Tremarco).

Rose has only sort of been holding up her part of the bargain; she has undoubtedly gained the respect of the family, but she doesn’t appear to have completed the intended task of putting Will Taylor (Dean Andrews) to bed.

She has made overtures to him, but things have moved slowly. Ruby is also not the patient kind.

Rose has been threatened by Ruby on multiple occasions, yet not much has changed. But don’t wait any longer—this is the moment.

After everything that has happened, Ruby and Caleb are able to get back together, while Nicky Miligan (Lewis Cope) continues to separate himself. Ruby makes the decision to let him go, despite Caleb’s best efforts to get him to stay.

Her primary goal is for Nicky to be free to pursue his own interests, but she also has revenge ideas running through her head.

Ruby meets Rose for a progress report, but Dawn’s birth mother wants to back out of their agreement to ruin Kim’s life once more—it’s just not her primary right anymore.

She points to Evan’s situation as the cause, but heartless Ruby is unconcerned. Rose may be pleading with her to let her to be with her new family, but she is determined to defeat her nemesis and no one can stop her.

Will Ruby plot a double-whammy to bring down Rose and Kim at the same time?
