Dan Ewing, the former star of Home and Away, has proposed to Kat Risteska, his long-time lover, with a gorgeous large diamond ring.
After proposing on December 12, the SAS Australia star revealed his engagement on Christmas Day.
Dan captioned the announcement, “All I want for Christmas is…” and featured the oval diamond ring.
“Here for this! Happy being in love guys, soooo happy for you both,” fellow SAS recruit Emma Husar commented. The post was soon filled with fans and friends congratulating the couple for sharing the exciting news.
“Wahoooooooooooooo,” former Olympian Jana Pittman wrote.
“Congrats to you and Katrina brother! So happy for you both,” Sam Webb said.
The couple started dating in 2016 and starred in Dan’s smash film Occupation: Rainfall together.
Dan spoke exclusively to 7Entertainment earlier this month and bragged about his romance with Kat.
He mentioned how much they enjoyed lockdowns and how it allowed them to spend more time together.
“We loved lockdown and we just didn’t overthink it. You’re finding all these walking paths you never knew existed near your house, stuff like that and keeping things in perspective,” he said.
He described working with his now-fiancée Kat as “unreal,” and he enjoyed “seeing her in her environment.”
“In the first Occupation, she sort of stole the show with her little cameo, and then in [Occupation: Rainfall] she’s a resistance fighter, and she kept the boots, if you know what I’m saying.
“I’m a fan, it’s very nice and she’s changed my life, she’s such a gorgeous woman, and easily the most empathetic soul I know,” Dan said, gushing about his now fiancé.
