Later this month on EastEnders, a DEADLY club crush is going to have horrific consequences, and Chelsea Fox will be solely to blame.
According to the soap magazines, scenes from a nightclub event at Peggy’s that tragically goes wrong will be seen in the BBC soap opera.
One teases: “Chelsea causes a deadly crowd crush at Peggy’s.”
A second says: “A club night at Peggy’s offers a disgruntled lady the perfect opportunity to get one over on her arch enemy. But her actions have horrific consequences for the entire square.”
Another reveals: “Chelsea meddles in a situation but it spirals out of control.”
Viewers know Chelsea was demoted as manager of Peggy’s by owner Phil Mitchell after Penny Branning schemed against her.
While details are scarce it is claimed Chelsea’s actions will have long-lasting effects – and it’s safe to say fans are very excited about the upcoming stunt.
They have hailed the storyline – for both centring around Chelsea and being something new for soaps to tackle.
One wrote: “Pleased to see some big material for Chelsea and that they were actually building to something with Penny taking her job.
“I really wasn’t expecting something so catastrophic to come from it though – something interesting and different to the usual kind of stunts.”
A second said: “Ooh, this week sounds absolutely exciting AF – and the crowd crush stunt sound really amazing!
“Think this the first time there’s been a crowd crush stunt on a soap, since 2006’s crowd crush / nightclub incident on The Bill.
“This sounds like one hell of a storyline for Chelsea – and I can’t wait to see this unfold, along with the fallout!”
Another added: “Wow wasn’t expecting that turn in direction.
“Exciting stuff, a lesser spotted stunt idea and something meaty for Chelsea.”
A fourth added: “At this point I’m sure [EastEnders boss, Chris] Clenshaw is a huge Desperate Housewives fan.
“The Six storyline reminds me of the Housewives hiding the body in the final series and this storyline at Peggy’s club reminds me of the crowd riot and fire in the club that Dave causes.”
