Eliza (Savannah Kunyo), the granddaughter of Stu Carpenter (Bill Fellows), was taken to the hospital after being struck by a car a few weeks previously on Coronation Street.
Eliza tried to get along with her dad, Dom, in the moments that were shown as part of the plot. Eliza was at the precinct when she and Stu got into a fight over Dom not showing up for a visit. As a result, Eliza left his car and was hit by another.
This subject will be brought up again in upcoming episodes when a policeman arrives and informs Tyrone (Alan Halsall) that there is grounds to believe his automobile was involved in a hit-and-run.
Tyrone walks into the café and inquires of Cassie (Claire Sweeney) about her whereabouts on September 11 as the cops inspect the vehicle.
Even though Cassie claims she had nothing to do with the hit-and-run, Evelyn (Maureen Lipman) doesn’t seem to be buying it.
Cassie is subsequently discovered by Kevin (Michael Le Vell) as she reaches for a bottle. Kevin offers her the sofa at Number 13 after pointing out that she can’t go home in her current condition.
But was Eliza’s hospitalization caused by Cassie?
Otherwise, who was?
