In future EastEnders scenes, Peter Beale (Thomas Law) is about to confess to Cindy (Michelle Collins) just how close he and Suki Panesar (Balvinder Sopal) used to be.
Previously, Suki had an affair with Peter when she needed to reclaim control of her life.
However, when Cindy Beale finds out about it and chooses to exploit it to her advantage in typical Cindy way, she might regret her choice.
Cindy intensifies her efforts to secure funding from the Panesars by setting up a meeting with Nish (Navin Chowdhry) to discuss her plans for a Pie and Mash shop. Cindy is still adamant on establishing herself in the Square and starting her own business.
Peter, however, finds it awkward to work with the Panesars given his relationship with Suki, and he finds this to be a problem.
He foolishly exposes what the two of them have done in the past in an effort to warn his mother off. He hopes that this will make her think twice.
Peter regrettably finds that it has the exact opposite effect and instead offers Cindy more justification to win Nish over.
Cindy (Shiv Jalota), who is as determined as ever to have her way, uses Vinny (Shiv Jalota) as leverage by disclosing to him about the affair.
The discussion with Nish, however, is abruptly ended by a frightened Ravi Gulati (Aaron Thiara), who quickly informs them that his son Nugget (Juhaim Rasul Choudhury) has vanished.
Nish is pushed into a deal when Cindy refuses to understand the family emergency, and he reacts angrily by bringing up her own parenting shortcomings.
Cindy, who is not easily intimidated, lashes out and rips up the contract in his face.
Has Peter gotten his way now that the agreement is in shambles? Will the Beales permanently avoid the Panesars?
