‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers suggests that Christine Blair Williams (Lauralee Bell) may have gone too far in her desire to see Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) punished for her crimes.
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers: Just Punishment
Christine Blair Williams has a lot to hate Phyllis for, but their rivalry hasn’t been as obvious at the rivalry between Phyllis and Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters).
Phyllis cheated on Daniel Romalotti’s (Michael Graziadei) paternity test after stealing Danny Romalotti’s affections from Christine (Michael Damian). She then attempted to hit Christine with a car.
Christine is undoubtedly furious that Phyllis hasn’t made amends for anything she done to her. Now that Christine is Genoa City’s district attorney, she must decide how to handle Phyllis’ case.
Phyllis impersonated Diane Jenkins and pretended to be dead. When James Hyde (Jeremy Stark) attempted to kill her, she responded by killing him.
Contrary to what Phyllis claims, Stark never intimidated her and never forced her to participate in his scheme to assassinate Diane. She further claims that Stark was slain in self-defense. Although this is the case, she is powerless to back it up.
She intends to bribe EMT Carson (Walter Belenky) into admitting that he witnessed everything and that she is telling the truth. Will that really be sufficient to exonerate her?
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers: Bad Move
Christine ought to be aware that she shouldn’t try to reason with Phyllis. She ought to be looking into Carson further to see if he actually attended and observed anything. She would strike gold if she could learn that he is being compensated. Instead, she decides to try to strike a bargain with Phyllis, which is a disastrous decision.
Christine promises Phyllis that she won’t pursue Summer Newman (Allison Lanier) for complicity if she enters a guilty plea and waives all rights to an appeal over the charges she faces. Summer might now be prosecuted for her role because Phyllis included her daughter.
This offer was a poor decision. Phyllis informed Heather Stevens, her attorney, about it (Vail Bloom), and Heather plans to retaliate. Christine claims that she didn’t make Phyllis any sort of bargain, but this is precisely the kind of circumstance Heather can take advantage of. To have Christine removed from the lawsuit, she will appear before the judge.
How do you feel? Did Christine make a serious mistake? Will Heather achieve success?
