Actress Lisa Riley from EMMERDALE has received a tonne of support after making a touching and intimate declaration on social media.

The actress, who is best known for playing Mandy Dingle on the ITV serial opera, revealed that she will be one of several well-known people honoring Strictly Come Dancing legend Robin Windsor after his death earlier this year.

At the age of 44, Robin was discovered dead in a hotel room in February.

After being put up for the BBC dancing competition in 2012, Lisa and Robin remained close friends until his passing.

Lisa has been invited to participate in the one-of-a-kind production of Celebrating Robin Windsor: The Final Act, which honors his life and career.

It has been reported that she will co-host the show with current judge Anton Du Beke, a fellow Strictly personality.

Lisa posted the following on Instagram to announce the unique West End performance: “So so so pleased to be hosting an INCREDIBLE night of talent with @mrantondubeke.

“A live show at THEATRE ROYAL DRURY LANE, in Londons WEST-END….a night dedicated to my best friend @robinwindsor my for always angel…”

Along with another of his former celebrity partners, Deborah Meaden, Robin’s colleagues Strictly pros, Pasha Kovalev, Joanne Clifton, and Vincent Simone are also scheduled to make appearances during the show.

When Robin died earlier this year, Lisa was devastated, and after making her most recent announcement, her fans rushed to show their support.

One fan said in the comments section, “I know you’ll present this as wonderfully as you did his eulogy. What an amazing tribute.”

“How Wonderful, Lise,” said actor Beth Cordingly, a fellow performer. That is amazing. You’ll make him happy.”

One more admirer said, “This is a beautiful tribute to your amazing friend.”

One person continued, writing, “What a beautiful tribute to Robin.”

November of this year is when the event is scheduled to occur.
