Actress Lisa George has shown off her recent weight loss and her toned legs as she shared a stylish selfie with fans.

Lisa, who has played Beth Tinker in ITV‘s Coronation Street since 2011, gave fans an insight into her wardrobe as she posed in front of her mirror.

Sharing one snap with a fitted cream jacket and a pink mini dress with matching shoes, she wrote across the snap: “Pink and cream should be seen…”

In a follow up snap shared on her Instagram Stories, she showed her weight loss with just the pink mini dress which she described as “Twiggy style in pink”.

The snaps, which were shared with her 63,500 followers, comes as the star has revealed how her careful diet has seen her at her lowest weight in years.

Speaking to the Mail Online in May, she said: ‘I cut out so much from my diet and am a stone lighter than I was last year.

“I’m loving the weight I’m at now. I went out on Friday and wore a velvet suit that was a size 10. I have not been in a size 10 since I was 28!

“I feel like the best I’ve felt in ages even though I’ve got all these health problems.”

In December last year it was revealed that Beth had quit the ITV soap, where she has played Beth Tinker for 13 years.

Brought in as a love interest for Steve McDonald, Beth made an instant impression with fans and a new family was brought in around her.

Beth is married to Kirk Sutherland, and her son Craig is the local police officer, while her beloved niece Sinead died from cervical cancer in 2019.

A source in December last year said: “Lisa has been on Corrie for a long time and she’s had some great storylines.

“She’s become a firm fan favourite with her comedy scenes but has had viewers sobbing in heartbreaking plots like Sinead’s death.

“She loves Corrie and it’s in her bones but she feels now is the right time to move on and take on new challenges.”
