Henry Newton, A Star Of Coronation Street, Reveals The Real Reason Behind The Return Of The Cobbles.

Gemma Winter from Coronation Street has reconnected with Henry Newton, a previous flame who might be about to wreck her relationship.

Henry Newton (played by George Banks) of Coronation Street recently visited Weatherfield, and the actor talked about his character’s “true” motives this time.

Henry formerly harboured affections for Gemma Winter (Dolly-Rose Campbell), but they were not shared, and Gemma was relieved to be rid of him.

When Jenny Connor (Sally-Ann Matthews) understood she would have to close the Rovers Return if she couldn’t find a buyer, the two recently got back in touch.

George Banks, who plays Henry, recently spoke out about his return to the cobbles and acknowledged that his goals this time weren’t as misguided as they were the first time.

“During his final stint on the street, he was on the verge of becoming the landlord. He maintains a special place in his heart for the Rovers, as do many of Corrie’s viewers, according to him, he told Metro.co.uk.

He appreciates visiting a location that his grandfather Cecil also liked because he has many happy memories there.

In addition, I believe he has a soft spot for both his grandpa and the Rovers. I don’t believe he was aware of this until recently, but he has some extremely strong memories associated with both.

He has a great deal of affection for this place. So, yes, I believe he is sincere in his desire to try to assist; however, I’m not sure he is considering the business aspect, and I believe his heart may be somewhat controlling his mind.

George also mentioned that he had been sincere with Gemma and that there was a romantic element to it.

“I do believe that it has a romantic element for him. You can’t help but be reminded of the times you spent together when you run into an old sweetheart.

And before everything went bad and was his fault, for him, those were good times.

Along with his relationship with Gemma, Henry also has a strained one with Jenny from a prior attempt to con both of them out of money after arranging a “accident” in the pub’s cellar, which Johnny Connor (Richard Hawley) was the victim of.

Will Henry pursue Gemma once more or will he abandon her in Chesney Brown’s (Sam Aston) arms, where she is contentedly wed?
