Stephen Reid from Coronation Street will soon be exposed for his homicidal rant after lurking in plain sight for the past year.

Fans believe that Tim Metcalfe (Joe Duttine) will be the next victim of Stephen Reid’s (Todd Boyce’s) on Coronation Street, who has had numerous chances to claim his fourth victim.

Todd Boyce, who plays Stephen, was recently photographed filming outside an airport, indicating that the serial murderer may be attempting to escape Weatherfield.

Recently, soap opera viewers speculated on who they thought Stephen could kill before leaving on their Reddit accounts.

Do you believe Stephen will get to kill off a key character at some point before his exit, as asked by user @iloveNearmorethanL?

According to the teasers, which state that he attacks Tim and that Teddy’s body will soon be discovered, the drama appears to be coming to a close.

Therefore, I was curious if you believed he would still be able to claim at least one more victim. Or do you believe that is the final kill for him?

“And do you think he’ll get to genuinely kill a significant character like Tim if he does? Perhaps Peter, given that he is departing?

In response to their query, @StormblessedOrc said: “I truly hope so, but it’s beginning to appear improbable at this point. Tim won’t be thrown out, in my opinion.

“However, if it did happen, it would leave up the door for a later reunion between a widowed Sally and Kev. For the third and final time, they might get married again.

“Stephen has by far been the most entertaining thing to happen in Weatherfield in a very long time, and I’ll be sad when his time on the street comes to an end.” (sic)

@chippyinairplane said, “I hope he never leaves and continues to kill!,” and @SnooRadishes5963 agreed, saying that there had been many casualties. Max, Simon, Summer, and Sean.

“I understand why the writers don’t do it, but it takes away from serial killer storylines when they just kill extras and a single “minor” character (Tim in this hypothetical case),” @redditorMan2020 said.

“Killing off big characters would give mass murder storylines much more impact, but I’m not asking them to kill a character who is iconic on a David/Ken level,” the author said. (sic)

@00vr expressed his optimism that Stephen wouldn’t beat up Tim and wrote: “I hope so (not Tim! I adore Tim too much, and although though he is a fairly skilled manipulator and has already committed murder, Tim feels a little toothless in the role of the bad guy.

“I think eliminating one or two of the primary cast members would help trim down the overstuffed group a bit and give the villain a stronger, more menacing presence. (sic)

If a prominent character is never killed off by a serial killer on a soap opera, what’s the point? He could eliminate Gary, Izzy, Craig, and Chesney, and I would be overjoyed. (sic)

Another user proposed that Stephen’s ultimate victims should be those who are closest to him.

“Surely Micheal has to be the “primary” cast member to die within this story,” @JM200YBC commented. Since he has been the only character to remain the same during the entire plot, it would be simple to eliminate him. (sic)

Will Stephen get one final chance before being apprehended for all of his murders? Will Tim ultimately grant him his wishes?
