In upcoming scenes, Ed Bailey from Coronation Street will be persuaded to start a new business venture by his brother Ronnie.

In upcoming scenes, Trevor Michael Georges’ Ed Bailey from Coronation Street is expected to make a significant decision regarding his future.

Official ITV soap opera spoilers state that after bringing newbie Cassie Plummer (Claire Sweeney) to the hospital, Michael (Ryan Russell) finds himself in difficulty.

An ugly altercation between Cassie and drug dealer Dean (Anthony Crank) results in Cassie falling to the ground, and the Underworld employee insists on transporting Cassie to A&E.

The drama doesn’t end there, though, as Dean tries to pursue them in secret since he’s anxious for the cash Cassie owes him.

As a fight breaks out between the two men, the situation quickly gets out of hand, and just as Ronnie (Vinta Morgan) arrives, Dean hits Michael.

Ronnie, who was incensed to watch Michael being attacked, suggests that they call the police to have Dean arrested.

Cassie begs them not to because she wants to leave her previous life of crime behind.

Later, when Aggie (Lorna Laidlaw) is working at the hospital, Michael reveals to Ronnie that situations like that occur frequently.

Ronnie is shocked, so he plans to use this information to his advantage to get Ed to partner with him in a new business venture that would allow Aggie to retire with security.

Could Ed alter his mind if it meant his wife would be safe at the hospital, even though he was first hesitant to go accept Ronnie’s proposal?

In another scene, Ronnie reveals to Debbie Webster (Sue Devaney) that he followed her advise and used the funds from the Tavern Mews project to purchase Newton & Ridley shares.

Dee-Dee (Channique Sterling-Brown) is thrilled that her family is launching a new company in Weatherfield and offers to assist with the administration and accounts.

Ed is thrilled when Dee-Dee agrees to assist with the accounting and administration for their new company, but Ronnie hides his anxiety.

After telling her son Tyrone Dobbs (Alan Halsall) a falsehood about her location, Cassie may be in additional trouble elsewhere in Weatherfield.

When Michael witnessed her fall, she had actually gone to see drug dealer Dean, not the Citizens’ Advice Bureau as she had told Tyrone she was going to do.

What lengths is Cassie ready to go to keep Dean away from her family given how violent he is and the fact that she owes money?
