“I thought there was a foot here,”

As a result of the death of his Emmerdale character, Bhasker Patel has admitted to crying.
Viewers of Emmerdale witnessed the tragic deaths of Bhasker Patel’s character Rishi Sharma during the summer. When the character fell down the stairs and died by himself, he was seen getting ready to attend Jai and Laurel’s wedding.
Bhasker, 67, has discussed his departure and his growing mistrust of the Emmerdale executives with the Metro team. I’ll miss working with the Emmerdale family, who are a great group to work with and from whom I learned a lot. It gives you a great profile, and when Rishi passed away, the online outcry made me cry, said Bhasker.
Bhasker claimed he sensed something was off when Rishi’s story took a turn for the weird. “When they told me we need a big story, you know Rishi lost Nikhil and Priya and Manpreet…they said we’ll bring Manpreet to you and when they didn’t, I thought something is wrong,” the actor concluded. I responded, “That’s fine,” when Jane Hudson, the departing Emmerdale executive producer, said, “We need a big story and we’re going to kill Rishi off.”
Bhasker claimed he doesn’t harbor resentment toward anyone for how abruptly he left Emmerdale.
