EXCLUSIVE: It appears that the Coronation Street inhabitants are beginning to piece together Stephen Reid’s sinister past.
Sally Dynevor, who plays Tim Metcalfe on Coronation Street, has described the moment her character realizes that her husband Joe Duttine (Joe Duttine) may be in danger.
After Leo Thompkins’ (Joe Frost) body was found, viewers have recently seen killer Stephen Reid begin to realize his past wrongdoings are catching up to him.
ITV soap opera spoilers indicate that as Tim becomes more wary of Stephen, he decides to check out the canal where he previously saw him snooping around.
Tim tries to call the police as soon as he sees the hand of a dead body, but the murderer attempts to silence him permanently as he battles for his life.
Unaware of the truth, Sally incorrectly believes her husband (Michael Le Vell) skipped their wedding anniversary to attend a football game with Kevin Webster.
Sally is perplexed as rumors begin to circulate on the cobblestones as Kevin reveals that Tim missed the game.
The soap star described her character’s realization that Tim is in trouble in an interview with Express.co.uk and other media outlets.
The soap star responded when asked if she was upset that her husband hadn’t called her: “Tim would always call Sally, so she thinks, ‘He would’ve rung me at this point if he was hungover.'”
But now that it’s the following day and he may have been gone for two nights, I believe she is seriously worried about him.
The soap actor admitted Sally began to wonder about his whereabouts, his lack of communication, and the location of his phone.
She continued, “Despite all of that, she has no idea what has happened.
“Elaine comes in and claims that the Platts have all been talking and that he has murdered people with whom he didn’t get along, but that doesn’t happen until she is in Roy’s Rolls with Gail.
“It clicks with Sally, and she’s like, ‘Oh my god, he never got along with Tim.'”
Would Stephen be able to claim his last victim before being apprehended? Or will Tim be able to survive unharmed?
People are beginning to realize that Stephen is connected to more than just the murders because Carla Connor (Alison King) knows that he was the one who injected her with LSD.
She is prepared to inform the police that Stephen is a flight risk as she searches for one-way tickets to Thailand in an effort to discover his plans to leave Weatherfield.
