Emmerdale Exit 'sealed' As Lydia Dingle Finally Shares Rape Ordeal With Family

Fans of the ITV soap opera Emmerdale watched in horror as Lydia Dingle was violated by her childhood friend Craig Reid in her own workplace.
In upcoming Emmerdale scenes, Sam Dingle (James Hooton) is upset because he doesn’t understand why Lydia Dingle (Karen Blick) went to her “mother’s” house.

He confides in Kim Tate (Claire King), who subtly probes him to see if he is aware that his wife Lydia has been raped.

When they attempt to call Lydia’s mother but are unable to reach the Emmerdale persona, they both become frightened.

Sam turns on Kim and commands her to reveal any information she has regarding his wife.

Lydia, who is now broken, hears Sam’s voicemail and starts to second-guess her decision to flee her house.

Sam’s worst suspicions are confirmed when Mandy Dingle (Lisa Riley) claims that she believes Lydia is having an affair back in the village.

Sam is frantically trying to make sense of everything, so Mandy tries to explain her suspicions to him.

The Dingles are shocked, though, when a frail Lydia arrives home and prepares to talk about her harrowing rape experience.

Her admission that she has emotional issues has shocked the family. Lydia admits to them that Craig Reid (Ben Addis) sexually assaulted her.

How will Sam react to the traumatic news? Will he encourage Lydia to report the crime to the police?

Could he end up tracking down the vile rapist and attacking him?

Perhaps the entire Dingle family will seek revenge on Craig in a bid to get justice for Lydia. Whatever, happens let’s hope an exit is on the cards for Craig.
