EXCLUSIVE: Despite being aware of his crimes, Michael Bailey from Coronation Street looks up to his boss Stephen Reid and views him as a role model for his own career and future.

As Todd Boyce’s Stephen Reid (Coronation Street) plans to rob Underworld as part of his getaway, Michael Bailey of Coronation Street is going to cause chaos for Carla Connor (played by Alison King).

In the following scenes, Stephen maintains composure despite his anxiety over whether he will be able to escape without being discovered.

Because he needs money for his scheme to succeed, Stephen dupes Michael Bailey (Ryan Russell), who is gullible and trusting, into allowing him to transfer the entire balance of Underworld’s account into a false one he has set up.

When Carla learns of the transfer, she is astounded and makes an immediate effort to learn more.

When Sarah Barlow (Tina O’Brien) finally reveals to the Platts that Stephen has been defrauding Audrey Roberts (Sue Nicholls) and giving Carla LSD, the couple is shocked.

Peter Barlow (Chris Gascoyne), who is enraged, stops Stephen as he tries to leave his apartment by attacking him. However, Audrey soon arrives and sends Peter packing.

When Stephen’s mother accuses him of stealing her house, his initial relief at her arrival quickly changes to horror and increased panic. How will he react? Will he tell his mother the truth?

When DS Swain (Vicky Myers) learns that Stephen has changed the date of his flight from Manchester to Bangkok, he races to the airport to meet him, but will they arrive in time?

According to Elaine Jones (Paul Wilcox), the Platts think Stephen killed anyone who stood in his way.

When Sally Metcalfe (Sally Dynevor) realizes that Tim Metcalfe (Joe Duttine) was one of the obstructions in Stephen’s path, her worry quickly turns to panic.

Is Tim Stephen still at large? Will he board his flight or will DS Swain’s team catch him?

Ryan Russell, who plays Michael, recently discussed how his character’s choice will affect both his own future and the future of Underworld.

Ryan discussed how Michael will react to Underworld getting into trouble with Express.co.uk and other media, saying: “I think he is just going to be like, ‘I cost Underworld thousands of pounds’.

And asking yourself, “How am I going to pay them back? Will my employment be in jeopardy? He is terrified that Carla will bite off his head.

I believe that after getting promoted and feeling like he was making lifelong progress through his designs, everyone in Underworld began to respect him.

Therefore, losing that will make him feel like he is starting over, and having to support Glory alone will be difficult financially.

Ryan responded that before Michael realizes Carla needs him, he will have to endure the “wrath of Carla” when asked if she will be understanding.
