In light of impending tragedy for her character, Emmerdale actress Emma Atkins has opened up about what it was really like to film her first-ever stunt scene.
Emma Atkins, a star of the ITV soap opera Emmerdale, has discussed what it was like to film her first-ever stunt scene.
Since joining the show in 2000, the 48-year-old, who is best known for portraying the feisty Charity Dingle, has been a part of a number of intense plotlines. The star will also astound viewers once more when she makes an appearance in her first stunt scene in 23 years.
In upcoming scenes, Charity, played by Emma, will be in a terrifying car accident alongside her ex Mackenzie Boyd and his girlfriend Chloe Harris. However, viewers will have to wait and see how the trio turns out.
At a press screening for Emmerdale, Emma spoke exclusively to Daily Star about what happened behind the scenes and how the crash was captured on camera.

“It was cool for me personally because it was my first significant stunt in my entire time here,” she said. Everyone sort of exclaims, “You’ve got to be kidding!”
“For whatever reason, I missed a lot of the stunts, so for me, it’s a mega mega block. As a result, the week we spent filming all the major scenes in the quarry felt exactly like being in a movie. Wow, this is very different from the other material I film, I thought. I thought it was fantastic and thoroughly enjoyed myself.
She continued: “It was such a wonderful team, I felt I was part of a dream team.”

The moment Chloe Harris loses control of the vehicle she is driving with Charity Dingle and Mackenzie Boyd, causing it to crash onto a cliff, has been captured in new images, and Charity and Chloe can be seen pleading with Mack to save them.
As their car repeatedly rolls down the side of the cliff, Chloe, Charity, and Mack are thrown upside down, and it appears that only one of them will survive.
Emma said this when discussing the filming process: “I don’t know the actual speed but it was pretty fast. It was like being trapped inside a hamster wheel on a fairground ride.
It was also unexpected, said Lawrence. I was so surprised by how bizarre it was being thrown around during the first take that I laughed during it.

Before settling there permanently, Mack and Chloe had intended to take a vacation there. However, after she learned of Mack’s secret relationship with Charity, things quickly turned deadly.
Chloe had planned to abandon Mack and Charity in the countryside as payback when she picks Charity up to give her a ride, but when a car crashes into them, things take a tragic turn.
