EXCLUSIVE: As viewers gear up for Super Soap Week, upcoming episodes of Emmerdale will be filled with drama. Laura Shaw, the head of the soap opera, teased that there would be more turns in a recent interview.
Laura Shaw, the executive producer of Emmerdale, teased tragedy for one cherished family in the Dales in an exclusive interview with Express.co.uk and other media.
Without giving too much away, Laura stated that one villager will be imprisoned in forthcoming scenes, but who will it be?
She also stated that the renowned Dingle family would have a significant plot.
“We’re going to be doing something a little bit special with the Dingles coming up,” Laura said.
“I believe that all of the Dingles will participate, and these episodes were shot in a slightly different manner than usual for us.
“True to form, we’ve played around with the format a bit. I can predict that many secrets will be made public.
“After seeing the final episodes last week, I think it’s going to be very memorable.”
Laura continued, “We have got tragedy striking one family in the New Year. It’s going to be a very explosive New Year in the village.
“We have one or two of our villagers getting into very serious trouble.”
“At least one of which may end up in prison, but we will see,” she said.
Cain Dingle (played by Jeff Hordley) and his brother Caleb Milligan (played by Will Ash) have been hiding a dark secret from each other in recent scenes from the ITV soap opera.
As the duo has been holding a hostage, fans have been left wondering who it could be.
Moira Barton (Natalie J. Robb) learned what her husband had been hiding from her in Friday’s episode.
Moira pushed her way into the room where Cain and Caleb had been holding a hostage after she had followed Cain to Wylie’s Farm.
Her response made it obvious that she recognized who it was.
Many fans have suggested Adam Barton (Adam Thomas) as the mystery person in their own theories about who the person might be.
However, it won’t be long before the well-known face is finally seen.
