The star of Home And Away Bonnie Sveen and her longtime partner Nathan Gooley got married in Tasmania.
The couple, who had been dating since 2020, wed earlier this month in front of 100 members of their intimate circle of friends and family at Stewarts Bay Lodge in Port Arthur.
Bonnie explained to New Idea magazine that she and Nathan preferred to make their wedding day “nice and simple” as opposed to “putting on a show.”
Additionally, the couple made sure that their 4-year-old twin daughters Myrtle and Emerald were in the spotlight the whole day.
It was a dream come true for Bonnie and her husband to have their two young children present to witness and participate in the celebration.
Instead of just a couple, “we were coming at the wedding as a whole family circle.”
Bonnie looked stunning in a Madi Lane wedding dress made of ivory satin with an off-the-shoulder strap, a fitted corset bodice, and a long, dramatic train.
She accessorized with a big pair of pearl earrings and wore her blonde hair up in loose waves.
Meanwhile, Nathan was dressed in a beige suit, a white button-up shirt, and tan dress shoes.
Bonnie and Nathan exchanged vows beneath an archway that Bonnie’s father had built from salvaged driftwood, with the stunning natural surroundings serving as a backdrop.
In the meantime, Bonnie’s mother adorned the tables with flowers from her garden.
She told the outlet, “Having this day to celebrate love, each other, everyone’s good health, and being able to be together was the most grateful I’ve ever been in my life.”
Since Bonnie and Nathan are known for keeping their personal lives private, they never made a public announcement of their engagement.
But she stated in her most recent interview that Nathan truly bowed out in 2010.
From 2013 until 2016, the actress portrayed Ricky Sharpe on Home and Away.
She continued acting after leaving the program by making an appearance in The Secret Daughter before taking a break to have a family.
