Exclusive: Stephen Reid attacked Tim Metcalfe of Coronation Street, hauled him into the back of his taxi, and left him there in the middle of the forest, unconscious, with no one knowing where he is.

After being abandoned in the middle of the woods by Stephen Reid (Todd Boyce) on Coronation Street, Tim Metcalfe (Joe Duttine) still needs to be located. However, director David Kester has hinted that Tim’s worst is yet to come.

Back in the Cobbles, Sally Metcalfe (Sally Dynevor) and Elaine Jones (Paula Wilcox) are distraught over Tim’s whereabouts while he is trapped in the boot of his car.

Stephen tried to say Tim’s name as he lay dying on the floor and appeared to be about to reveal where he was, but he passed away just in time.

Now that Tim is missing, Sally and Elaine must work tirelessly to discover his location before it’s too late.

Recently, director David Kester spoke candidly about how crucial it is to choose the ideal setting for the scenes involving Stephen and Tim while also hinting that assistance is “just out of reach”.

We spent a lot of time looking for that, especially the urban one because it wasn’t originally written that way, he said in a statement to Express.co.uk and other media.

“But that place was incredible. We wanted to make it feel more urban and like Coronation Street.

“I mean, we sent a team in there literally to make it safe for filming, and they went and cleaned up all the syringes and you know, bits of awful things that were lying around to make it safe to work in.

“When they arrived, we replaced it with our own syringes and trash; the location is ideal because it isn’t very far away.

It’s kind of hiding in plain sight, and since it resembles a maze a little bit, you can tell that Tim is in danger there.

“And you know he is not going to be found easily and then you have got these trains going past every five minutes which makes it look like help is almost there but just out of reach.”

Will Tim, who is battling a head injury, be able to extricate himself from the trunk of his car? Or will it already be too late since he will be Stephen’s last victim?
