Viewers of Coronation Street think Lauren Bolton is in danger because the teen was seen pleading for £1,000.

Fans of Coronation Street think they know why Cait Fritton’s character Lauren Bolton needed money so badly.

After months of tension building between them, viewers of the ITV soap opera this week witnessed Ryan Connor (Ryan Prescott) and Daisy Midgeley (Charlotte Jordan) sleeping together.

Lauren entered the apartment to find Daisy wearing her top backwards despite their desire to conceal their brief fling.

Soon after spotting Daisy and Daniel Osbourne (Rob Mallard) together at the cafe, Lauren found out that Daisy was engaged.

Lauren decided to take advantage of the fact that Daisy had cheated on her partner and demanded £1,000 to buy Daisy’s silence.

Viewers watched as they found the money to keep her quiet for the time being while she refused to explain to Ryan why she needed the money.

But earlier in the episode, Lauren could be seen accepting enigmatic calls from someone.

Lauren insisted to the person on the other end of one of these covert calls that she would pay the money and keep it a secret.

It didn’t take long for people to start speculating on Twitter about what the money might be used for because some people think the teen is in trouble.

Later, the same viewer inquired, “Interesting. Lauren, are you in real trouble? She appeared uneasy while on the phone with the person.

Do you believe Lauren and Justin are related, @Mikepriestley13 posed as a question? Justin was also talking on the phone. This is not something I have read.

She may not want to blackmail Ryan, but isn’t she determined to do so once he enters the room? Just seems strange.
