As Cash assumes a new role in the infamous Mangrove River, he will encounter River Boy turmoil on the upcoming Australian episode of Home and Away.

After losing interest in the police work, Cash (Nicholas Cartwright) left the service early this year.

After assisting in the hiding of Dana (Ally Harris), who was wanted by the police on drug-related charges, he was the subject of an inquiry.

Cash suffered repercussions for his choice to assist in keeping Dana hidden even after learning that DS Will Madden (Jonny Pasvolsky) was the one framing Dana. Dana was being set up.

The police appear determined to make an example of Cash, despite the fact that Dana has been cleared of any crime and that Irene (Lynne McGranger) and Harper (Jessica Redmayne) were both cleared for their roles in aiding a “fugitive.”

After conducting an investigation, it was determined that Cash would be demoted from Senior Constable and given restricted tasks, but he would still get his previous position back.

After telling the police to get lost, Cash hurriedly entered private security.

He finally found himself providing private security protection for well-known actress Stevie Marlow (Catherine Van-Davies) after weeks of grueling night shift work as a mall cop. But when Stevie was shot on the beach in Summer Bay, it went horribly wrong.

Cash has now concluded that perhaps his previous employment wasn’t all that horrible.

In the end, he was informed that he may be rehired at his previous rank of Senior Constable; however, there was a catch: since there were no openings at the Yabbie Creek or Reefton Lakes stations, he would have to accept a job in Mangrove River.

Cash poured himself a large glass of whiskey and explained to Eden (Stephanie Panozzo) that Mangrove River was the worst police station in the state. Cash’s lack of enthusiasm startled Eden.

When Eden asked Alf (Ray Meagher) what he thought about the neighboring area, Alf first asked Cash why she would “want to know about that dump,” then he verified Cash’s account.

“He will have a lot on his plate,” Alf said. “There’s only turmoil at this place. You advise that guy of yours to use caution, huh?

In case you forgot, the Braxton brothers, Dean Thompson (Patrick O’Connor), and even Colby Thorne (Tim Franklin) are former members of the River Boys gang, which has its headquarters in Mangrove River.

Although the gang has caused a lot of trouble for Summer Bay over the years, the locals have been fortunate enough not to have dealt with them too often recently.

Even worse, Cash discovered that his predecessor had been murdered at work when he investigated why the position had become empty!

The younger River Boys become interested in Cash when he starts his new work in the notorious Mangrove River later this week. They are curious about the new police officer in town.

Two of the newest River Boys have already been introduced to us: Rory (Joshua Orpin) and Dingo (JK Kazzi), who acted quickly to assist Mali (Kyle Shilling) in exacting revenge on the Allen siblings for beating up his brother Iluka (Dion Williams) earlier this month.

Although Rose (Kirsty Marillier) and other police officers intervened during Mali’s battle with the Allen brothers, preventing Rory and Dingo from really getting engaged in the fight, it is evident that the Mangrove River guys are still a formidable force.

After that, Rory stayed in Summer Bay and soon after made eye contact with Felicity (Jacqui Purvis).

Although he gave her a strange first impression by wolf whistling her from Salt’s balcony, he quickly won her over. In fact, throughout the last few Australian episodes, Flick has been utterly enamored with the charming “bad boy,” even going so far as to suggest they spend some time away together.

However, Dingo tried to get Rory’s attention, interrupting their romantic stroll on the beach with Flick.

“Well, how’d it go?” Rory questioned him as she pulled him aside.

When Dingo admitted that he had “stuffed up,” Rory shot back, asking how foolish the man could be. It’s simple to get started; just gather your equipment.

Unaware of the situation, Flick watched with a smile as her new partner tenderly placed his hand on Dingo’s shoulder. To her, though, it appeared to be just one companion offering support to another.

We’re not precisely sure what Rory and Dingo were up to, but it’s obvious that the group is still engaged in illegal activity on the underground, and Flick has no idea what she’s getting herself into.

Earlier, when Flick brought her new fling back to the Saxon Avenue home she shares with her brother, and then at Salt, Cash and Rory first crossed paths.

But while Flick tried her hardest to keep her brother and her new love interest from striking up a conversation, Cash forgot to find out Rory’s hometown, and Rory is unaware that Cash is a former police officer who is about to go back to work.

Cash will receive a River Boy welcome later this week when the boys discover that a new police officer has moved into their neighborhood, according to a preview for this week’s episodes.

Cash’s new coworker, Constable Jo Devlin (Ariadne Sgouros), asks, “So, what’d you do to get stuck here with us then?”

“It’s a lengthy tale,” he answers.

Jo transferred from Mangrove River to Yabbie Creek Police back in 2022, and the two had previously collaborated. However, it appears that Jo has since returned to the infamous force.

When the boys learn that a new police officer has arrived, Dingo asks, “What do we do now?” Rory responds, “We welcome him to town.”

Later, when Cash and Jo exit the Mangrove River police station, they see a group of arrogant River Boys sitting nearby, and a crudely spray-painted “Welcome” sign across the bonnet of Cash’s truck.

As they look at one another, Cash and Rory realize they are about to get the shock of their lives. Rory’s smug smile vanishes as he realizes he has just spray-painted the Ute that belongs to his new partner’s brother.

After they enter the station, Cash then informs Jo, “He’s dating my sister.”

“My sympathies,” she responds.

Cash quickly warns Flick to avoid Rory when he later discovers her back in Summer Bay, but he won’t say why.

Cash says Flick, “I’m going to need you to end things with him.” “I just need you to avoid this guy,” the speaker said.

Flick tries to cut him off with a hesitant “but,” but Cash is adamant: “Okay, please. If this weren’t important, I wouldn’t be asking you this.”

In the meantime, Rory sees an opening and believes he can use Flick to obtain information about Cash.

As they stroll through Salt, he informs Dingo, “We have a unique opportunity to get some dirt on the new cop.” It’s obvious that he is not in a haste to give Summer Bay a wide birth following their finding.

What are Rory and Dingo getting up to, and how is Cash going to do now that he’s working on River Boy territory?
