Lauren Bolton of Coronation Street recently revealed the shocking news that she is expecting Joel Deering’s child.
Fans of Coronation Street have calculated Lauren Bolton’s due date.
This month, the disturbed child (portrayed by Cait Fitton) shocked everyone by coming back to the cobbles. As followers will remember, Lauren had been missing since February and was thought to be dead, which led to a protracted mystery plot.
Later on, viewers discovered that she had been viciously attacked by sicko lawyer Joel Deering (Callum Lill), who had left her for dead.
In an episode last week, Lauren went to the hospital to see Roy Cropper (David Neilson) after going into hiding for several months. A few weeks after being sentenced to prison for Lauren’s “murder,” Roy had experienced a heart attack.
However, when Joel confronted Lauren at the hospital, he shoved her into a family room and tried to lash out at her once more. This was when things took a drastic turn. But in a shocking turn of events, Lauren revealed to Joel that she was expecting his child while shielding her stomach.
The episode included a number of flashbacks that revealed the real story behind her disappearance and her relationship with Joel.
After Lauren needed help paying her bills, the shady solicitor wormed his way into her life and forced her into a sexual relationship.
Last week, Lauren was able to get away from Joel; however, on Wednesday, July 17, Dee-Dee Bailey (Channique Sterling-Brown) and Bethany Platt (Lucy Fallon) find Lauren.
DeeDee eventually persuades Lauren, who is afraid to come out of hiding, that she will be safe during her prenatal checkup at the hospital. But Joel shows up at the hospital later, leaving Lauren with nowhere to go.
But since the announcement of Lauren’s pregnancy caused such a stir among viewers, some have “figured out” when she might give birth.
A fan commented on X, saying, “She’s five months pregnant.” Well, so it’s connected to Super Soap Week! Every year, Halloween week is “super soap week.” “That’s it then – Lauren will have her baby down a Coronation Street sinkhole!” joked the same user.
One viewer speculated that Lauren might welcome her child around Christmas. “Lauren is sure to give birth at Christmas,” they said.
In the meantime, someone else overlooked the following on an internet fan forum: “Maybe a bonfire night extravaganza since the baby is due in 4 months.” “Or maybe an early super soap week in October birth,” a second person said in response.
