Next week, Dana Matheson from Home and Away is expected to get suspicious of con artist Bronte Langford. Bronte was recently welcomed into Irene Roberts’ house after it was revealed that she had a fatal autoimmune condition.

In the scenes that will air next week, Bronte makes up the story that drinking the tainted water at the Diner has made her illness worse, and Irene advises her to file a lawsuit to get paid.
Bronte’s assertions seem strange to Dana, Irene’s roommate and licensed nurse, who asks Bree Cameron if it’s even conceivable. Bree offers to help Bronte understand her test findings, but she promptly apologizes and departs, leaving Dana with even more worry.
Irene discloses her startling suggestion to allow her friend to sue her while Dana and Bree continue to discuss the shiftiness surrounding Bronte. After offering to research the clinical trial in Canada, Bree quickly learns that the trial’s website is broken.

As soon as Irene enters the room after that finding, Dana accuses Bronte of lying about her illness. Dana soon discovers that her sister Harper and boyfriend Xander believe she has gone too far, and they advise her to stop attacking Bronte. Bronte plays the victim. They soon have disagreements with her.
The following day, Harper makes an effort to make things right and urges Dana to do the same with Xander. Will Dana’s (accurate) suspicions, however, be enough to persuade them?
