Since moving in with the woman he had been having an affair with when she was fifteen, Eden (Stephanie Panozzo) has not seen her father Jimmy (Aaron Jeffrey).

Eden resolved to permanently shut Levi (Tristan Gorey) and his father out of her life after she saw the suffering they had caused their mother.

After that, Eden and Levi drifted apart for over ten years, even though Levi tried to patch things up. That is, until last year, when he showed up at Northern Districts after Mackenzie’s (Emily Weir) heart attack.

After a while, the two were able to patch things up, and Eden even got to meet her sister-in-law Imogen (Georgia Blizzard). However, when it became clear that Levi was having an affair with Mac, everything went apart. Eden had severed all relations once more, devastated that her brother will end up like their father.

Even though Levi and Mac have a happy relationship, Levi still feels bad about hurting Imogen. When Jimmy makes an unexpected visit next week, who better to discuss matters with?

Yabbie Creek doesn’t seem to have someplace to eat or drink, so the two head to the Pier Diner, where Levi introduces his dad to a pretty enamored Marilyn (Emily Symons).

Levi sits down and apologizes to Jimmy that he won’t get to meet Mac because he’s now seeing Ziggy (Sophie Dillman) and Dean (Patrick O’Connor), but he tells him that he’s very happy and that he made the correct decision.

Jimmy only cares about that, but Levi notices that he has been having trouble, so he wonders how he managed to deal with the guilt of leaving his wife all those years ago.

Levi and Jimmy are in different situations; although Levi never had a “unhappy” marriage to Imogen, Jimmy advises him to find a way to move on if he doesn’t want it to affect his relationship with Mac.

That evening, the two are going to have dinner together, but Jimmy is going to avoid Salt because Levi hasn’t told him that Eden also lives in Summer Bay. But Summer Bay is a tiny town, and Eden doesn’t take long to recognize her dad while he’s strolling over the grass toward the surf club from the Salt balcony!

Eden goes directly to the farmhouse, opens the door, and gives her brother a forceful blow to the face. “What on earth is my father doing here?”

While strolling along the beach, Jimmy spots another well-known face when Kirby (Angelina Thomson) recognizes him. When he sees her, he’s especially shocked and wonders if she’s also seeing Levi.

Kirby confirms that Eden also resides here when he inquires about the whereabouts of the other band members after pointing out that she does.

Levi tells Eden that their father’s presence in Summer Bay isn’t on him and that Jimmy learned where he was living from Imogen as he delivers her a box of tissues for his bloody nose and a bag of frozen peas for her fist.

Now that the truth is known, though, Levi boldly informs Eden that he and Jimmy will be having dinner at Salt that night. Eden is furious because she has work tonight, but Levi says it’s her fault and she has the choice of showing up or not.

After all these years, can Eden still be able to confront her father?

In other parts of Summer Bay, Xander’s (Luke Van Os) relationship with Dana (Ally Harris appears to be coming to an end, and he has a rough week ahead of him.

Last week, Dana broke up with Xander because she couldn’t let him believe she was telling the truth about the whole Bronte (Stefanie Caccamo) story. If only there might be a crisis of some kind to perhaps reunite the two…

Next week, when Dana sets the flags on the beach and does her hardest to keep her distance from Xander, she gets a little sidetracked when her sister Harper (Jessica Redmayne) shows up to break the news that she is expecting a child.

Xander heads off for a surf with Theo (Matt Evans) while the sisters depart for Salt to talk about the potentially life-altering consequences of that small bombshell.

But Xander quickly finds himself in conflict after being knocked from his board and being struck in the head. When Theo notices that Xander doesn’t surface, he reacts quickly, finding his friend unconscious and face down in the water.

Dana and a coworker race to Xander’s rescue as he groans in pain when Theo drags him to the shore just as she is returning to the beach.

After being driven to the Northern Districts by paramedic Jo (Katie Horky), Xander is given to his roommate Bree (Juliet Godwin) while he whines about a neck ache. When Theo realizes that he didn’t consider a spinal injury when he pulled Xander out of the water, he becomes worried right away.

After Harper tells Rose (Kirsty Marillier) about the incident, both Dana and Rose head straight to the hospital.

While Bree updates Xander, Dana hovers just outside the curtain, unsure of how her presence would be accepted. Fortunately, all of his scan results are clear and indicate that he is solely suffering from a soft-tissue injury.

Bree tries to take off Xander’s neck collar, but he tells her not to because he can’t feel his legs!
