The River Boys are going to intimidate Cash Newman from Home and Away.

Cash began working for the Mangrove River police department recently. Cash was informed upon his arrival that his predecessor Franklin’s murder was probably the work of the River Boys gang. He is currently looking into the crime.

Complicating matters further, Cash’s sister Felicity has rekindled her affair with the River Boys’ current leader, Rory Templeton.

Although Cash alerted his sister to Rory’s problematic past, she chose to support her new partner and advised Cash to adjust to spending more time with Rory.

In scenes that will run the following week, Kirby questions whether Felicity is aware that her boyfriend is a member of a gang, and Mali worries that he hasn’t been able to give up his surfboard. She promises not to mention anything and gets Mali to swear he won’t be careless around the River Boys.

Cash is summoned into work at the police station in the meanwhile. He’s astonished to find his automobile surrounded by a bunch of scary gang members when he gets there. Can Cash compete with the River Boys?

After going swimming together, Felicity and Rory fall in love, but John tells them to rent a room. Then, to John’s horror, he finds Rory’s tattoo of the River Boys’ iconic Blood & Sand emblem.

Innocently explaining that he was simply picking up the board that Mali made him, Rory tells John when he spots him behind the counter at the board shop.

John tries to warn Felicity, but she says she doesn’t want anyone controlling her romantic life and stands up for Rory and his tattoos.

Before confronting gang member Dingo, Cash displays strength against the group of River Boys who are “welcoming” him to Mangrove River. Dingo tells Cash that after he saw them, they are now observing him.

Before things get out of hand, Rory calls Dingo and tells them to back off since he’s heading back with Felicity.

Later, Cash witnesses Rory and his sister arriving while he is parked outside a street party. Cash asks Felicity to get in his car so they can go, fearing that she has made herself at home with the River Boys.

Cash orders a reluctant Joanna to run the license plates he’s collected when she refuses, and he goes back to the station.

After returning to Felicity’s home, Rory goes to the bedroom with her before Cash comes back and ejects him. Cash informs Felicity—who is furious—that Rory is the presumed leader of the River Boys and that they are all implicated in a murder.

Felicity responds angrily, claiming that not everything is about Cash because they were together before he was hired by the police. Will Cash and Felicity still be separated by Rory and the River Boys?
