Next week on UK screens, Cash Newman from Home and Away surprises his partner Eden Fowler with an unexpected proposal.
After speaking with his friend Remi Carter, Cash feels motivated to further in their relationship.
Following the conclusion of the murder investigation he has been working on, Cash will be looking forward in upcoming episodes.
Lately, Cash’s main focus has been on identifying the killer of his predecessor, Franklin McGrath, who worked as a police officer in Mangrove River.
Cash is able to wrap up the case the next week when River Boys leader Rory Templeton admits to being the guilty person.
Cash is happy that everything worked out well, but he is concerned about his sister Felicity, who is devastated that her boyfriend is a killer.
When Felicity becomes inaccessible, Cash worries, but Eden intervenes to reassure him that everything will work itself out.
Afterwards, after their recent reunion, Cash asks Remi how his relationship with Bree Cameron is going.
Remi exclaims how wonderful it is to be happy with someone he genuinely thinks is “the one”.
Cash reflects on Eden’s steadfast support of him during the River Boys ordeal. Since Eden has shown him nothing but love and support, he realizes he has also found “the one” in her.
When they are alone, Cash expresses gratitude to Eden and is moved when she reveals that all she wants is for him to be happy.
Cash promptly proposes marriage to Eden after she asks if there is anything more she can do for him.
Eden is obviously taken aback by the idea, even though she knows that stern Cash isn’t typically this gregarious.
