After taking a vacation from work, Bree returns to Summer Bay prepared for a fresh start in Home and Away, having received a diagnosis for her issue.
However, the doctor soon finds out that not everyone is glad to see her again when she runs into Roo.
Juliet Godwin’s character Bree became paralyzed during a work emergency. Roo, played by Gene Parker, furiously informs her that her father Alf (Ray Meagher) almost lost his life as a result. She’s not sure if she can forgive that.
Juliet, 30, tells TV WEEK, “Bree is devastated after her run-in with Roo, but understands why she’s angry.” “She is aware that she made a mistake in how Alf was treated.”
It’s not just Roo who tells Bree this, either. Even with the support of her boyfriend Remi (Adam Rowland), the once-popular doctor realizes that others are turning their backs on her and that it would take time to persuade people in the Bay that she deserves another opportunity.
Juliet remarks, “At first, Bree is overwhelmed by everyone’s emotions.” But she’s resolved to heed her counselor’s advice, concentrate on her recovery, and do her best to atone for her mistakes.
Juliet continues, “Her character is determined to show she’s changed, even though it will be difficult.”
“Bree acknowledges that she made a mistake,” the woman declares.
