Danny Dyer, a former cast member of EastEnders, has stated that he would be open to rejoining the BBC soap opera in 2019 to commemorate its 40th anniversary.

Before the character vanished and was thought to be dead at Christmas 2022, the 47-year-old actor portrayed Mick Carter for nine years.

Since then, we’ve watched Linda, the wife (Kellie Bright), battle her loss and relapse into alcoholism.

When abuser Dean Wicks, played by Matt Di Angelo, came to Albert Square, her behavior got worse. Later, when she put a meat thermometer through Danny Walters’ back to stop him from strangling her closest friend Sharon Watts, played by Letitia Dean, she discovered that she was an unlikely murderer.

Although Mick’s body was never located, fans have grown to believe that he would return to Walford at some point since his absence, and Danny hasn’t completely ruled it out.

He cracked a sly joke during the NTAs last month.

He yelled, “Bring back Mick!” last month while giving a gong presentation at the National Television Awards.

Adding additional fire to the speculation that the big 4-0, which will be celebrated with a live show in February, may return.

Danny stated on the KISS Breakfast Radio Show that he would love to come back, even if he insisted that his NTAs statement was a “joke.”

He stated, “I would be willing to return for the 40th anniversary, but no one has gotten in touch with me.”

He is presently a Disney+ star in the series Rivals.

“I’ve put it out there,” My wife Linda has turned into a murderous woman, and I believe I must go back and save her.

“It worries me a little bit,”

Danny has maintained a steady schedule after Mick left, even though he insisted that he should come back. He is presently starring in the Jilly Cooper adaptation Rivals on Disney+.

In addition, he starred in the lead role of Mr. Bigstuff on Sky, which was picked up for a second season.
