Next week, Perri Hayes will be on UK TVs, which is terrible news for Tane Parata of Home and Away.

When the owner of the Summer Bay gym learns that Perri was unable to successfully file a lawsuit against his violent father Carl, he becomes quite upset.

Perri recently talked candidly with Tane and Harper Matheson about his upbringing with a violent Carl, who coerced him into doing illegal work.

Sadly, Tane will not be able to fulfill his commitment to support Perri in court when he testifies against his father in later scenes.

The first indication that something is wrong is when Perri gets a menacing note from Carl telling him not to testify.

Perri becomes agitated and contemplates abandoning the court appearance; however, Tane consoles the terrified adolescent by taking him for a stroll.

Tane boldly states that Carl is unable to harm Perri in any way going forward and emphasizes that, should the hearing proceed well, he won’t have to see his father ever again.

Tane is perplexed when Harper fails to appear for their scheduled meeting with Perri and him on the day of the hearing.

Harper had been bleeding, so she hurried to the hospital instead of joining the other two to go to court. Her worries now center on the health of her unborn child with Tane.

Harper doesn’t answer calls from Tane at the hospital because she doesn’t want to let him know what’s going on with Perri.

Dana, Harper’s sister, steps in and gives Tane a call because she thinks he would be curious.

Tane cancels his plans to help Perri and heads to the hospital to be by Harper’s side as soon as he finds out he’s needed there.

Tane gets to Harper in time for her ultrasound. Everyone exhales with relief upon hearing the baby’s strong heartbeat and being reassured that everything is well.

Tane is overjoyed by the heartfelt moment, but his joy fades when Rose Delaney calls to inform him that Perri’s father was found not guilty.

Will Perri believe that Tane’s absence was the reason for the poor outcome after she bravely appeared in court by herself?
