The violent actions of Tommy Moon (Sonny Kendall), who is still abusing his mother Kat Slater (Jessie Wallace), have outraged EastEnders viewers.
As the teen’s violent behavior persists, Kat and Alfie (Shane Richie) start talking about his biological father, Michael Moon (Stephen Shepherd), who is a villain.
When sociopath Michael first moved to Albert Square in October 2010, his charm and good looks won him over the neighbors. However, it soon became clear that Michael was a cunning and manipulative thug, which was the prescription for tragedy. Michael fell in love with Janine Butcher (Charlie Brooks), who was completely different from his cousin Alfie.
The couple married in 2012, but Janine left their marriage since Michael was never able to be a decent father to their daughter Scarlett.
It didn’t sit well with Janine when Michael used the naive Alice Branning (played by Jasmyn Banks) to earn him time with Scarlett as a father and daughter.

Michael ultimately concluded that the best course of action for Janine was to have her killed by an overdose of sleeping pills that Alice had planned.
When the three of them finally met in person on Halloween 2013, an enraged Michael took Janine by the throat, only to release his hold when Alice stabbed him.
When Alice fled, Michael stood back up and pursued Janine once more before she struck him with the knife, killing him.
Although the villain blamed Alice for Michael Moon’s death, Janine Butcher was the real murderer. After a brief affair with Kat, Tommy Moon was officially declared Michael’s son, but Alfie has also considered the boy his own.
“After two years of playing Michael, I feel now is the time to move on,” Stephen stated as he departed the BBC serial opera in 2013. “I have relished every minute of exploring his character,” Stephen said. both the positive and negative aspects.
“I feel extremely privileged to have had this amazing experience and I want to thank everybody at EastEnders for their extraordinary support,” the actor continued, referring to his stint on the show.
“First and foremost, I want to express my gratitude to the fans for loving him despite all of his imperfections. I hope the best for them.
