Jean’s behavior has repercussions.

In the most recent episode of EastEnders, Tommy Moon’s abuse narrative had a tragic conclusion.

Tommy’s behavior went out of hand this week; at a family meal, he destroyed the living room and burned Freddie.

After the Slaters learned of his abuse of Kat, the family learned that Tommy had also been abusing the twins.

Jean felt compelled to step in and covertly called social services regarding Tommy while Kat persisted in defending her kid and downplaying the circumstances.

Things were tight in today’s episode as Jean considered her actions and felt bad, while Alfie got ready to start his new work at the Minute Mart.

Following an urgent report, social services and the police came to speak with the family as Kat and the boys were heading off to school.

When they inquired about Tommy hurting Bert, Ernie and Kat denied that anything was amiss, but they subsequently discussed the matter with the kids by themselves.

Jean insisted that she had to safeguard the twins and the larger family, which startled Stacey when she acknowledged calling social services.

When questioned, Kat kept lying, but she was compelled to admit that Tommy was aggressive after the social worker claimed to have seen the twins’ injuries.

In order to shield their own children from Tommy, Stacey and Jean declined to assist when social services inquired if there was any family Tommy could reside with.

Bianca volunteered to take in Tommy, but it appeared that he would be placed in foster care since she was not considered suitable to care for him.

During his visit, Alfie attempted to convince Jean to reconsider, but he discovered that she had called social services. Alfie supported her actions, but he felt it would be better if Kat didn’t know.

Zack offered to take in Tommy as Alfie shielded Kat from another fight with their kid; Tommy was accepted as a certified foster caregiver.

After Tommy moved in next door, Kat made up a story about Alfie phoning social services and made him vacate the apartment.

Is it possible for them to reconcile?
