EXCLUSIVE: After Jamie Borthwick made an open admission about his romantic life, Strictly Come Dancing star Michelle Tsiakkas blamed him.

Michelle Tsiakkas, a contestant on Strictly Come Dancing, has accused Jamie Borthwick of “lying” about his romantic past.

Jamie, a 29-year-old young professional and EastEnders Jay star, talked exclusively to Daily Star earlier this week at the Pride of Britain Awards. Jamie denied receiving a lot of female attention as a result of his role in the BBC serial opera.

Jamie and Michelle are partners.

Michelle, however, said, “He’s lying…” Jamie went on to say: “No, truly, not at all. I find it hard to comprehend that I receive certain messages but don’t actually read them.

To be truthful, being on EastEnders hasn’t actually aided or harmed his romantic life. I generally play snooker too much.We then used the occasion to inquire as to whether a romantic relationship between the two may ever develop.

“When you spend eight hours a day with someone, you just naturally build a rapport and you just learn about each other,” Jamie, 30, stated. They attempted to engage in romantic activities with us, but I firmly put it to rest. It would be so strange because she is like my sister.

They have put an end to rumors of romance.

“We do have amazing chemistry, but he’s like my brother,” Michelle continued. You either have chemistry or you don’t. Talking and being among others comes naturally to you or it doesn’t. He is straight with me, and I am quite straight with him.

The couple did disclose that they would be taking a vacation when Strictly ended, but they clarified that it would be with a group of people rather than just the two of them. Michelle revealed:”We have planned a trip to Disneyland Paris actually, there is a big group of us.”

He remained silent regarding future storylines when asked about EastEnders and his character Jay Brown, although he did say, “I’d like for him to live happily ever after – but nothing is ever that simple.”

This week, they are scheduled to perform once more.

Chris Clenshaw, who has been the show’s executive producer for three years, has decided to leave the position in February 2025 after the soap opera has celebrated its 40th anniversary.

Jamie said: “Chris has been amazing for the show and for me personally, so I’m really sad about his leaving. Although we are sad to see him depart, we are welcome a new executive since executives change frequently. I’m eager to see what they have in store.
