As the Tommy Moon and Kat Slater plot developed on EastEnders, viewers may have recognized the face of a renowned soap actress.

Actress Joanna Bending, who joined EastEnders, is well recognized for her role as Dr. Michelle Walton in Doctors.

The final episode of the BBC soap opera Doctors, which is set in a fictitious general practitioner’s office in the Midlands, will show in December.

One of the social professionals that visits Tommy Moon to evaluate him is portrayed by Joanna Bending.

The 20-year-old soap opera will finish at the end of the year, it was revealed earlier this year.

The BBC blamed the soap opera’s “increased expenses” for its cancellation.

Joanna replaced the doctor’s surgery with Albert Square after joining the cast earlier this year.

Playing Dr. Michelle Walton on Doctors is Joanna Bending’s most well-known role.

She has assumed the role of Jackie Fairhurst, a social worker who is involved in the Tommy Moon plot.

Tommy’s violent outbursts towards his younger siblings and his mother, Kat Slater, have now gotten so bad that Jean phoned to report him.

In a recent Instagram post, Joanna expressed her joy about joining EastEnders.

Social services have now been to talk to Kat after receiving the report and have determined that the unstable kid poses a risk to his younger brothers.

Kat has been successful in getting Tommy to stay with his neighbor Zack, a registered foster caregiver, in order to prevent Tommy from being placed in foster care.

Joanna posted a picture to Instagram, expressing her joy at being a part of EastEnders: “A new Social and a Handsome DC arrive in Albert Square tonight at 7.30pm…….”

Tommy Moon’s aggressive outbursts directed at his mother Kat Slater has reported him to the police.

Fans, relatives, and friends showered her with support, with one response reading, “Wohoooo go on Jo!!!”

“Loving this!” said someone else.

“Best reason to watch,” a third person stated.
