Nish Panesar stormed out of Albert Square after a tense standoff on Thursday night’s episode of EastEnders, but is the cunning manipulator truly gone for good?
After two years, actor Navin Chowdhry left the show. However, in a surprising turn of events, the character was shown accepting responsibility for the death of Keanu Taylor, seemingly bringing “The Six storyline” to a close. The police questioned Linda Carter, the actual murderer, and the other women again earlier in the week because they were still not certain Dean Wicks killed Keanu at Christmas. The body was buried after Linda and the other women—including Nish’s ex-wife Suki Panesar—covered up the crime.

But this week, Nish learned the information and used it to threaten the women. Nish intended to use the knowledge to pressure Suki into returning to him. After Nish said he would be held accountable for the murder, Suki consented to reunite with her, only to discover she was plotting to deceive him. At their home, Suki and Nish had a terrifying confrontation as Nish vented his rage on her and questioned why she was no longer able to love him.
Nish slammed Suki into a table in a fit of rage as The Six faced exposure and ran out of time. Avani and Nugget, Nish’s granddaughters, and Stacey Slater came to her aid. Avani was the one who managed to contact her grandfather.
Naturally, Avani was unaware of Keanu’s death, but she was aware of Nish’s prior actions and his plan to assault Suki once more. The dying villain suddenly had a change of heart as Avani helped him realize that what he had done was wrong. He declared his love for Suki and his family and swore to do the right thing.
After gathering The Six at The Vic, Nish abruptly began inquiring about Keanu’s death and the circumstances surrounding it. The women initially believed he was teasing them, but once he called the police, it became evident he was telling the truth. The women were informed by Suki that Nish will turn himself up for the crime.

The rest of his family learned what was going on when Nish and the cops returned home. He pleaded with Suki to visit him in prison and to never wed her fiancée Eve Unwin as he was leaving.
After telling DI Arthurs that he had persuaded his guys to attack and murder Keanu in the café before burying his body, Nish was led to the police vehicle and taken out of Walford while The Six looked on.
However, despite the villain’s departure, many believe there will be more twists and turns for Nish. Many questioned if Nish’s guilt as the murderer was supported by the available evidence.
Will the terminally ill Nish pass away in prison, or will the dramatic festive scenes culminate with a last chapter?
