After Nish Panesar’s (Navin Chowdhry) incarceration on EastEnders, Denise Fox (Diane Parish) will battle feelings of guilt.
In a horrifying Halloween episode of the BBC soap opera, Nish assaulted his ex-wife Suki (Balvinder Sopal), confessed to killing Keanu Taylor (Danny Walters), and was arrested.
Even though Keanu’s real murderer turned out to be Linda Carter (Kellie Bright), the Six finally felt at ease.
However, Denise will witness the terrible effects of Nish’s imprisonment on his grandchildren, Davinder ‘Nugget’ Gulati (Juhaim Rasul Choudhury) and Avani Nandra-Hart (Aaliyah James), in later episodes.
Although Stacey Slater (Lacey Turner) is sure that the teenagers are far better off without the nasty Nish, Denise feels bad about it.
Even while this may be the case, Denise is nevertheless concerned about Avani’s growing difficulties.
Avani saw her grandfather attempt to sexually attack Suki just weeks after she was left wounded and bruised by older boy Mason. Her trauma was evident when she confronted Nish on Halloween.
