The falsehoods of Reiss are coming to light.
In the most recent episode of EastEnders, Bianca Jackson discovers a shocking detail about Reiss Colwell’s murderous scheme.
Reiss was under pressure last week when Teddy’s private investigator contact obtained CCTV footage from a warehouse close to Debbie’s assisted living facility, which may have included proof of her murder.
The perpetrator of the crime, Reiss, found out that he had been spotted leaving the assisted living facility around the time of Debbie’s passing earlier this year.
Bianca realized there may be something damning on the CCTV when Reiss burned the flash drive and took the recording. He became frightened and locked himself in the house when she tried to approach him.
After waiting outside the home all night to make sure Reiss didn’t sneak away, Teddy discovered Bianca in her taco van in today’s episode.
After Reiss fled by the back door, Bianca saw him at the café with Martin and informed him that she was aware of the CCTV film that had gone missing.
Reiss lied and said that he destroyed the video without first viewing it after taking the flash drive to make sure nothing crucial was on it.
Martin instructed Bianca to distance herself from Reiss when she pointed up the contradictions in his account and speculated that there could be something harmful on the video.
Teddy trusted her when she subsequently told him about her suspicions. Teddy acknowledged Bianca’s despair and disclosed that there was still one more copy of the video.
Insisting that Bianca keep this between them, he took the fresh flash drive from his contact, and she assured Teddy that he could rely on her.
Reiss apologized to Teddy for filming the scene in The Vic. He lied once more, claiming that he destroyed the flash drive because Sonia was seen on CCTV leaving the assisted living facility and throwing away some gloves.
Bianca was going to see the video herself when Teddy felt compelled to tell Reiss the truth and advised him to go home.
Reiss hurried over to No. 25 and cautiously entered the kitchen as the fireworks went off. However, Bianca had already viewed the damning video, so it was too late.
What will Reiss do now that he’s been exposed?
