BBC Strictly’s Chris McCausland’s Forgotten Soap Role Revealed, Leaving Fans Stunned

Fans are shocked to learn that Strictly Come Dancing star Chris McCausland was formerly in a major soap opera; they were not aware of it until recently.

Fans of Strictly Come Dancing were shocked to learn that Chris McCausland had an appearance in a popular serial opera.

This year, the 47-year-old comedian is showcasing his skills on the great platform of BBC One’s glamorous program, joining an elite group of celebrities that includes Jamie Borthwick, Tasha Ghouri, and Shayne Ward.

Chris, who performs every week for Craig Revel Horwood, Motsi Mabuse, Shirley Ballas, and Anton du Beke, has won over viewers and judges alike. Chris is teamed with the colorful Dianne Buswell. Notably, Chris—who is blind—keeps surprising everyone with his dancing abilities.

Chris is one of the Strictly favorites.

Chris appeared on television in programs including Would I Lie To You, Have I Got News For You, and 8 Out of 10 Cats Does Countdown before showcasing his skills on Strictly. He also provided the voice of Rudi for Cbeebies Me Too!

Fans, meanwhile, are giddy about his former role on the venerable BBC soap opera EastEnders. Unbeknownst to many up until now, Chris appeared as Karl on one episode of the Mirror back in 2018.

In the midst of his current Strictly trip, Chris’s short-lived EastEnders employment has surfaced again. An enthusiastic response was generated online after a fan uploaded a picture of Chris from the soap opera. One commenter said, “Didn’t know he was in ee omg.”

“How have I never noticed this until now?” was one of the remarks made by others expressing their amazement.and a second expressed their amazement, saying, “I was so surprised like how did no one notice this.”

His covert soap opera history has come to light.

Chris’s personality Karl left a lasting impression on EastEnders by conversing and even playing chess with Bernadette Taylor (Clair Norris) in Kathy’s cafe. Even though Bernadette won their second round, he wasn’t afraid to make lighthearted comments about his impairment and even smeared sauce on his nose to make her less competitive.

Meanwhile, Chris and his dance partner Dianne dazzled with a salsa number to Men at Work’s classic song “Down Under” on Strictly’s most recent Saturday spectacular (October 12). Head Judge Shirley was completely astonished by their performance, which was so engaging.

“I can’t even imagine how you managed to do that so flawlessly when you can’t see,” she yelled. Shirley went on to compliment him, saying, “On top of that, you didn’t miss a beat, and you stuck to your music.” I sincerely believe that to be quite outstanding.
