It seems that Daisy Midgeley (Charlotte Jordan) from Coronation Street is still having problems.

Recently, the character’s attention has been on aiding Jenny’s (Sally Ann Matthews) efforts to save the bar, but before that, she was entangled in a complicated plot involving Ryan Connor (Ryan Prescott).

Following Ryan’s acid attack, he believed he had grown close to a woman named Crystal.

When he later learned Daisy was the real author of the account, he was inconsolably sad. Daisy explained that she was merely doing it to provide Ryan with solace and a diversion, but Ryan was certain that her actions had irreparably damaged their friendship.

Ryan’s downward spiral continues as Daisy decides to move in with Daniel (Rob Mallard) and young Bertie.

Ryan has started injecting himself with steroids and plans to join a website similar to OnlyFans where he will send individuals private movies and photos in exchange for cash.

Charlotte Jordan has been discussing the characters’ future after confirming that Daisy will learn about Ryan’s foray into the shadowy realm of social media:

Given their past and the fact that she had no romantic plans for Ryan prior to the acid assault, she said to Digital Spy, “I just don’t know how healthy Daisy and Ryan’s relationship is.”

I’m not sure how long that will last because she feels responsible for him and there is some trauma bonding going on. Fans should be able to overlook her actions, I hope!

Daisy is becoming increasingly perplexed about her emotions, she added.

She didn’t intend for romantic feelings to arise, and she wasn’t looking for them either. Although her feelings for him go beyond platonic, she still feels the same way about Daniel. She’s just really perplexed.

Charlotte reflected on Daisy learning about Ryan’s OnlyFans account and how far he had taken it on the dark web, saying, “We’ve been watching Daisy learning about Ryan and his Only Fans tale. She’ll be deeply worried about him. Ryan makes Daisy feel particularly responsible.

She is completely invested in his recovery and will just want to make sure that he is okay since every time she looks at him, she is reminded of what was meant for her.
