Jenny Connor is headed for conflict after using money she pilfered from Carla Connor to reopen the Rovers.

The legendary character from Coronation Street confesses all to the businesswoman the following week, overcome with guilt. How will Carla respond, though?

Carla Connor worries a lot about money after serial killer Stephen Reid took everything from her.

Scenes that will premiere on ITV next week have Gary Windass (Mikey North) approaching Alison King’s character, a businesswoman, and informing her that he is considering selling the manufacturing building.

He continues, saying he’d like her to have first choice, but Carla, dejected, acknowledges she can’t afford any of it.

In the meantime, Charlotte Jordan’s character Daisy Midgeley’s wealth is at an all-time high.

Daisy delicately exits Tim Metcalfe’s cab with her numerous shopping bags, while Carla struggles to find a way out of her difficult situation.

Lucy Fallon’s character Bethany Platt notices this and assumes Daisy must have spent a lot of money.

Daisy, though, snaps, telling us it’s all from the Alderley Edge charity stores.

A curious Bethany hears Jenny Connor (Sally Ann Matthews) calling Daisy a stripper for going on such a spending binge. This occurs in the Rovers.

The landlady of the pub notes that they must hide their wealth and maintain a low profile.

Bethany realizes she was lying when Tim (Joe Duttine) admits that he picked Daisy up from the center of Manchester.

Frequent watchers of the Manchester-based show may recall that Daisy and Jenny managed to obtain all of the money that Stephen had taken from Carla.

The two were desperate to get the Rovers Return Inn back in operation, so they allowed their eagerness to get the better of them instead of doing the right thing.

Reopening the boozer, Jenny and Daisy vowed firmly that they would reimburse Carla.

But things won’t be going as planned since the truth is about to surface.

In other sequences, Bethany takes advantage of Jenny calling Ryan to the bar and rummaging through drawers.

After that, she quickly leaves after shoving something inside her purse.

Intrigued, Bethany pulls Stephen’s journal from her backpack and leafs through it in the builder’s yard apartment.

Has she found out what is true?

Jenny covers her fear in the café when Carla pokes fun at Bethany’s charges.

When they go back to the Rovers, a frazzled Jenny tells Daisy they have to figure out a method to give Carla the money back without her knowing.

Unfortunately, Daisy is adamant that they should just keep silent, so Jenny might not be able to choose the appropriate course of action.

As the karaoke night gets underway, Sue Devaney’s character Sally Webster is admiring Daisy’s new luxury handbag.

Jenny, who is afraid, chastises her stepdaughter for showing off her wealth, but things get worse when she doesn’t realize that her remarks are being recorded by a microphone.

Carla senses the tension building as Ryan Connor (Ryan Prescott) intervenes to defuse the situation.

In Victoria Garden, Carla spots a very distraught Jenny and questions her about Bethany’s misgivings over Stephen’s finances.

Jenny collapses, unable to hold back any longer, and acknowledges that they took it but meant to return it.

When will Carla be able to let go of Jenny?

Will Jenny have to confront her anger instead?

Could that mean she lost the Rovers once more?

Every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday at 8:00 p.m. on ITV, Coronation Street airs.
