Next week on Coronation Street, Stephen Reid (Todd Boyce) is determined to stop anyone who stands in his way after killing Leo, Teddy, and Rufus.

The focus of Super Soap Week this year is Stephen’s demise. Police officers and Weatherfield residents are currently piecing together a rather shocking jigsaw puzzle after Leo’s body was found.

Stephen is planning his escape and decides to fly to Thailand because he is fully aware of what is happening.

But before he can leave, he must deal with a number of characters as the truth is finally revealed.

In the midst of a confrontation with Tim (Joe Duttine), who has found a body in the murky waters of the canal, Stephen is back at the canal as Carla (Alison King) alerts Jenny (Sally Ann Matthews) that the police are on to him.

Tim is attempted to be strangled by Stephen using a tie, but Stephen chases after him and eventually hits Tim in the head with a brick, rendering him unconscious.

Back on the cobblestones, Sally (Sally Dynevor) becomes irritated with Tim for going to a football game rather than celebrating their anniversary, but she is unaware that he is fighting for his life in the boot of his car while it is being doused in gasoline!

After learning that Stephen has changed his flight, DS Swain (Vicky Myers) rushes to the airport to try and catch him as the action quickens.

Sally is sick with worry as Elaine (Paula Wilcox), who is obviously terrified, reports that the Platts believe Stephen murdered anyone who stood in his way.

As the shocked residents realise that they have a murderer in their midst, the hunt is on to find Stephen before he can add to his death toll…or are they too late?

He is utterly and completely in need,” According to actor Todd Boyce, Metro.co.uk. “I always point out to people how desperate he was when he arrived in Weatherfield.

He arrived in Weatherfield appearing to be in control despite the fact that his wheels had fallen off in Milan. This is the result of his sustained struggle with difficulty over the course of more than a year and a half of covering.

Anyone who stands in his way during this final stretch is in immediate danger of death. To escape this terrible situation, he will do anything.
