Viewers of Coronation Street witnessed Tim Metcalfe fighting for his life after learning a shocking revelation.

Observant Coronation Street viewers picked up on a significant mistake during Tim Metcalfe’s (Joe Duttine) confrontation with Stephen Reid (Todd Boyce).

ITV viewers witnessed Tim learning Stephen was enthusiastic about the canal dredging project on Monday night.

Tim made the decision to go and conduct his own investigation after observing the killer acting suspiciously a few days earlier.

Using a nearby object to probe the water, he was startled to see a dead body’s hand float to the surface.

He ran back to his car and attempted to call the police to report the body he had discovered, but the line abruptly disconnected.

Killer Stephen emerged from the back of Tim’s car before Tim had a chance to call him back.

When Stephen realized he was responsible for the dead body, he tried to strangle Tim in the driver’s seat while taking off his tie.

Tim managed to escape and made a desperate attempt to flee the murderer, but was struck in the head by Stephen with a metal rod, rendering him unconscious.

People feared for Tim’s life as he lay unconscious on the ground as Stephen tied his hands together, strangled him, and then pushed him into the trunk of the car.

Stephen crashed his car into some trees, doused it in gasoline, and then drove back to Weatherfield, leaving many to wonder if Tim had made it through the ordeal alive.

However, it appeared as though many individuals were sidetracked when they realized a serious error while Tim was motionless on the floor.

Tim’s legs were spread out when Stephen first struck him, but when the camera cut back to the victim, his legs were crossed.

Twitter user @ifeelflames posted: “The lack of continuity over Tim’s fall position [sic] lands sprawled, then in the next [segment], his ankles are neatly crossed.”

But he moved, said @mvpnrs. bending his knees?”

According to @sue20adams, “He goes down with one leg straight and the other at an angle, pans to Stephen, and then when it goes back to Tim, his feet are crossed.”

Despite the fact that @poppylover79 said: “I noticed that! He wasn’t actually dead, so I suppose he could have moved.
