Recently, Liam McCheyne has taken center stage on Coronation Street as his character finds himself in serious trouble.
He portrays Dylan Wilson, the son of Sean Tully, who has made multiple appearances on the serial opera throughout the years.
He used to perform alongside his twin brother, though he is the sole actor currently playing the part.
How old is Liam?
Liam turned 17 earlier this year, having been born on January 21, 2007.
He gave his twin brother Connor birthday wishes to commemorate the big day.
After uploading a number of photos of the brothers over the years, he commented on Instagram, “After 17 years of sharing a birthday with @connormccheyne, there’s never a day when we don’t laugh.”
“Even though our paths and ideas differ, we can always rely on the same person.” There’s no way I would have it otherwise.
“There will be a further chapter written. Chapter Seventeen! Cheers to yet another incredible year.
Connor used to be an actor, but these days he just plays cricket. His social media is full of pictures and videos showcasing his love for the game.
What has Liam acted in?
In Coronation Street, Liam made his acting debut as Dylan Wilson. Charlie Corry and Grace Robinson, who had starred in the serial opera back in 2008, were replaced in the role.
He and his twin brother shared the role from April 2011 to December 2012. From October 2020 to January 2021, the actor made a comeback to the program, this time taking on the role of the character. He returned for good in July of 2022.
As Eddie, Liam starred in the television series Sally Phillips in Moving On. He played Tim in the film Mother’s Day that same year.
The soap actor acted in All Creatures Great and Small in 2020, played Jake Meredith in two episodes of The Bay in 2019, and made three appearances as Harrison in 2020’s Last Tango in Halifax.
Is Liam in a relationship?
Liam doesn’t appear to be in a relationship based on his social media accounts.
His fans did, however, believe that he was seeing his co-star Cait Fitton, who portrays Lauren Bolton.
As a good buddy, Liam sent her a ton of pictures of them together on her birthday.
He wrote, “I did promise no mug shots!” as the caption. However, I just wanted to wish my best friend, @caitfitt0n, a very happy birthday.

Despite the fact that they are close friends, several of his admirers believed the pair was dating.
She commented, “Happy birthday to my favourite,” along with the words, “Thank you for being the brothers I always wanted but never had the privilege to have,” on Liam and his brother Connor’s birthday.
