Tim Metcalfe of Coronation Street is now in grave danger after coming too close to revealing the truth about Stephen Reid’s murders.
Tim Metcalfe of Coronation Street, played by Joe Duttine, is in a life-or-death situation as he poses a threat to Todd Boyce’s killer Stephen Reid.
ITV viewers witnessed Stephen’s fall last month as he learned that the body of Leo Thompkins (Joe Frost), whose body he had disposed of a year earlier, had finally been found.
He went to the canal early in the morning to make sure Teddy Thompkins’ (Grant Burgin) body was still buried where he dumped it out of fear that his previous crimes would come to light.
Unbeknownst to him, Tim spied on him from behind the bushes after noticing him acting suspiciously while prodding the water.
Tim was perplexed as to what Stephen was doing when he was interrupted because Stephen fled the scene when his phone started to ring because he thought he was being watched.
Although it appears that Tim has discovered Stephen’s true motivation for poking around in the water, and that it puts him in serious danger.
ITV soap opera Sally Metcalfe (Sally Dynevor) and Tim are planning to celebrate their wedding anniversary, but Tim is distracted by what he’s heard, according to official spoilers.
Tim starts to feel uneasy about the whole situation as soon as someone brings up Stephen’s interest in the canal dredging project.
Tim returns to the canal to look into it for himself, where he finds a boat hook that has been abandoned and begins snooping around in the water.
But when a corpse’s hand rises to the surface, he is startled, and he quickly runs back to the cab to call the police.
The phone cuts out as he begins to report the discovery of a dead body, and Stephen quickly boards the cab before Tim can call the police again.
Stephen tries to strike again as he attempts to strangle Tim to death with his tie after realizing he knows too much.
Tim successfully exits the vehicle and attempts to escape, but he trips over his shoelace.
Clambering to his feet, Stephen quickly knocks him out with a brick, putting his life in danger.
Will Tim be able to get out of this predicament? Or has Stephen already claimed another life?
As residents of Weatherfield begin to piece together how the dead bodies relate to Stephen, Sally becomes concerned for her husband’s safety after he skips their anniversary.
